| About The School: |
| The school combines expert
classroom presentations addressing, music,
choreography, presentation skills, teaching, singing
call techniques, and much more. There will be plenty
of “on mike” time for each student. I take pride in
providing quality instruction for the new, or the
beginning caller. In addition, there will be
training sessions and exercises designed to enhance
the knowledge of those callers wishing to expand
their current level of expertise. Whether
experienced, or just starting out, the instruction
will be tailored for each student, at their level of
expertise. The goal is to provide an enjoyable, yet
educational, experience to enhance your skills at
teaching, calling, and entertaining dancers. The
bottom line, the Big Sky Caller’s School is for
you!!! |
Enrollment is
limited-Please register early! |
| The cost of the school will
be $350.00 per student. Partners are encouraged to
attend at no additional cost. Tuition covers the
full cost of the program and a printed syllabus. The
fee does not include lodging or meals. Upon receipt
of your application, and a $50.00 deposit (fully
refundable until August 1, 2024), you will be
provided information as to what to wear, what to
bring, and how to prepare to get the most out of the
school. |
The facility: |
| The Big Sky Caller’s School
will be held at the Yellowrock Campground and Square
Center just west of Lolo, MT on Hwy 12. It is a
beautiful campground in the pine trees along Lolo
Creek on the Lewis and Clark Trail. Come early and
attend the Lolo Stomp Plus Weekend, August 08-10,
2024, as well. Whether you attend the weekend or
not, PLEASE make your camping registrations early
for the school, as the campground fills up rapidly
with square dancers. In addition, a variety of
motels are available in Lolo and Missoula. |
