A message from Jerry…
‘HOT AUGUST NIGHTS’ are over, and September has arrived closing the summer months and announcing that fall is just around the corner. In many ways, September feels like the busiest time of the year. School has started, Labor Day is in the rear-view mirror, and people are preparing for the cooler months. Also, most square dance clubs have started the fall and winter dance season. It is time to begin thinking about inviting non-dancers to come to a class and join in the fun of square dancing. RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT..then, RINSE and REPEAT. It is every dancer’s responsibility  to BRING someone to class and grow our activity.
One special event in September is the Nebraska State Festival to be held in Hastings, Nebraska on September 19-20, 2025. The featured caller is Curt Braffet from Illinois, and featured cuers are Carolyn and Tony Ahart from Missouri. This is a GREAT staff and will be fun for everyone. Dancers are asking about my upcoming winter program. Currently, I plan to start the first week of November. The first workshops and dances will begin on Monday, November 3rd. Please check my winter dance program in the printable flyers section for further information. I will keep it updated as the time approaches. As always, support your local clubs and callers as they resume club dances and lessons. They are the lifeblood of our activity. Please remember the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks 24 years ago, and continue to pray for our country. God Bless you all!!! |
