A message from Jerry…
 It is with a mix of emotions, along with a great deal of thought, and advice from my surgeons, that I announce I am retiring from long road trips. I am deeply grateful for the incredible opportunities, experiences, and friendships everyone has shown me as a Square Dance Caller. It has been a privilege. And, I am proud to have been a part of your clubs and weekends throughout the years. Your commitment, talent, and loyalty has been, and always will be, truly special.
At this time, I do intend to continue calling regionally in my home area next spring and summer. I have been informed by my surgeons that due to the extent of the surgery, I needed to expect an extended recovery. With this knowledge I made the decision to discontinue long road trips indefinitely. Due to the fact that I have owned a home in Mesa for 34 years, I do plan to spend the winter, and resume my program there this coming season. I have been assured that my recovery should be such that I can continue that program beginning in November. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone there. Valentine’s Day is a special day when we remember our loved ones and friends. It is time to let them know we care. As I write this, it is February 1st, which would have been my Dad and Mom’s 79th anniversary. Their wedding photo is in the corner. My hope is that the SPIRIT of Valentine’s Day will put HOPE and JOY into our world. Please keep in touch with your local clubs, dance friends, and callers. Give them your support, as they are vitally important to keep our activity vibrant and healthy. Happy Valentine’s Day.. Remember we are all family, and may God bless you all!!! Jerry |
